Primeval Core – Earth Element
Primeval Core is a Japanese decorative katana inspired by origin and inner strength within the Earth element.
It represents a return to what truly matters. In the philosophy of Earth, strength does not begin on the surface — it forms at the center. Beneath movement and change lies a core that remains unmoved. Primeval Core embodies that return to essence, where structure, intention, and endurance converge.
The fittings are crafted from pure copper, chosen for its weight, warmth, and traditional character. Synthetic ray skin reinforces the handle, maintaining a balanced and cohesive structure. The saya is made from high-mountain hardwood and finished with hand-applied lacquer, preserving the natural density and grain of the wood.
The blade is hand-forged from T10 high-carbon steel and clay-tempered before water quenching. This traditional process enhances edge hardness while preserving structural resilience. The blade follows a shinogi-zukuri geometry with defined ridgeline construction, reflecting classical Japanese blade proportions.
A 15-step hand polishing process refines the blade’s surface, followed by a traditional Japanese three-stage fine polish that enhances clarity, contrast, and geometric precision.
Primeval Core is intended exclusively for decorative display and collection, uniting elemental symbolism with disciplined craftsmanship.
