Spark Call – Fire Element
Spark Call is a Japanese decorative katana inspired by ignition and motivation within the Fire element.
It represents the decisive moment when intention transforms into action. Fire does not hesitate — it responds. In the philosophy of Fire, energy begins as a spark, but its true power lies in movement. Spark Call embodies that instant of activation, when clarity becomes momentum and stillness gives way to force.
The fittings are crafted from pure copper, offering warmth in both tone and weight — a subtle reflection of Fire’s living intensity. Synthetic ray skin reinforces the handle, ensuring structural balance within the design. The saya is made from high-mountain hardwood and finished with hand-applied lacquer, preserving natural strength beneath a refined surface.
The blade is hand-forged from T10 high-carbon steel and clay-tempered before water quenching. This traditional process enhances edge hardness while maintaining resilience. The blade follows a shinogi-zukuri geometry, defined by a structured ridgeline that emphasizes forward motion and controlled power.
A 15-step hand polishing process refines the blade’s surface, followed by a traditional Japanese three-stage fine polish to enhance clarity, contrast, and visual sharpness.
Spark Call is intended exclusively for decorative display and collection, uniting elemental symbolism with disciplined craftsmanship.
